Excelsior, Mighty Marvelites, Stan Lee Passes into the Next Realm at 95

Sad news today as the world loses an icon. Marvel Comics Empresario Stanley Martin Lieber, better known as Stan Lee, has shuffled off this mortal coil at the age of 95. Unlike the rest of the world, I haven't been sitting on a pre-written obituary for the last five years, so instead, let's just take a look at Stan The Man's best cameos from the big screen adaptations of some of his finest creations...

I don't think he ever had a better cameo than the one in Mallrats, but here's a quick Top 5 of my favorite Stan The Man cameos...

5. Captain America: Civil War

 

It doesn't get much funnier than "Tony Stank," except that it totally does...

4. Spider-Man: Homecoming

 

"How's your mother" is the most New York thing anyone can say. God bless Stan for nailing it.

3. Ant-Man

 

I'm a sucker for this running gag with Luis in the Ant-Man movies, and this is one of the most perfect ways to use Stan.

2. Teen Titans GO! to the Movies

 

I want to give this the number one spot, but I can't. But I REALLY want to.

1. Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2

 

This one ties them all together, and it's glorious. I don't think he's gotten a better cameo than this.
